Girl Scouts
Circa 1951, we sponsored the first Girl Scout troop for African-American girls in Orangeburg. And that work continues today.

In 1963, the Helen Sheffield Federated Girls Club was formed in support of our mission and to further provide resources for girls to ensure their success.
